Glory Academy Celebrates a Colorful and Inspiring Carnival Day
Glory Academy was filled with excitement, color, and joy on Friday, 12th February 2026, as pre-primary pupils, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate a memorable Carnival Day. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for children to express their dreams, creativity, and aspirations through vibrant costumes and a lively parade.
The carnival officially began at 11:15 a.m. with a procession of classes toward the assembly area. Primary pupils and their teachers formed a guard of honor, warmly cheering on fellow pupils and teachers who were beautifully dressed as captains, flight attendants, princesses, princes, engineers, police officers, superheroes, firefighters, chefs, doctors, and representatives of diverse cultures from around the world. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as each child proudly showcased a character or profession reflecting their dreams for the future.
Upon arrival at the assembly point, pupils were grouped according to the professions and characters they represented, and the grand parade began. Pupils dressed as police officers proudly led the procession alongside the school security guard, symbolizing discipline and leadership. They were accompanied by teachers, including two dressed in traditional Indian attire, cleaners, and the Headmistress of Nursery and Primary, all marching together with the children while ensuring their safety and encouraging them throughout the journey. The parade was energized by the rhythm of drums, songs, and cheerful voices.
The procession followed a lively route starting from the main school gate, moving through the Glory Academy parking area, passing FAC I and FAC II, and continuing toward the ULK students’ residences before reaching the entrance of the Masters. Upon arrival, the children were welcomed by the beautiful sight of a spraying fountain, creating a perfect backdrop for photos and videos. This special moment allowed pupils and teachers to proudly capture memories of their creative costumes and joyful participation.
After the photo session, the parade returned to the Glory Academy compound, where the children continued celebrating as they headed back to their classrooms to the rhythm of lively music playing in the Nursery hall. The celebration concluded with the sharing of biscuits, candies, chips, juice, Fanta, and chocolates, bringing smiles and happiness to every child.
