Glory Academy Students Showcase Innovative Science and Technology Projects on 2023 World Science Day

On the 10th of November 2023, students from Glory Academy, specializing in science and technology courses, enthusiastically participated in an exhibition organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Rwanda National Commission for UNESCO and the National Council for Science and Technology. This event, dedicated to celebrating the 2023 World Science Day (WSD), aimed to highlight the crucial role of science and technology in global well-being under the theme “Global Science for Global Wellbeing.”

The festivities of the day included a diverse array of activities such as exhibitions, public talks, and key messages emphasising the significance and advantages of globalizing science and technology for the betterment of society.

As a distinguished secondary school, Glory Academy proudly presented two innovative projects that showcased the practical applications of scientific and technological principles in the modern world. The first project, titled “Peel Manure Project,” was introduced by students specialising in Mathematics – Chemistry – Biology (MCB) and Physics – Chemistry – Biology (PCB) combinations. This groundbreaking initiative focused on extracting NPK from fruit peels, providing an eco-friendly solution to agricultural needs.
